Basic structure
Main pot: The design capacity is generally 350L, and the working capacity is about 300L. The material is mostly SUS304 stainless steel, and the inner wall is mirror polished. The pot has a three-layer structure with a jacket, which can be heated or cooled. The pot lid is usually an electric lifting type, equipped with a feeding port, observation window, vacuum extraction port, etc.
Pre mixing pot: includes a water pot and an oil pot. The working volume of the water pot is generally about 250L, and the working volume of the oil pot is about 150L. It is used for pre mixing water phase and oil phase materials, and there is a stirring device at the bottom.
Mixing system: It adopts forward and backward bidirectional mixing blades, usually a frame type mixer with a scraper. The scraper material is polytetrafluoroethylene, which can adhere to the pot wall to prevent material from sticking to the wall. The mixing motor power is generally 3KW, and the speed can be adjusted from 0-60 revolutions per minute.
Homogenization system: It is mostly an upper homogenization method, with a homogenization motor power of about 7.5KW and a speed of 0-3500rpm. Through the shear action between the high-speed rotating rotor and stator, the material is crushed into small particles.
Vacuum system: equipped with a water ring vacuum pump, such as 2BV type, with a power of about 2.2KW, which can achieve a vacuum degree of -0.08MPa or below in the pot, used to remove bubbles generated during the mixing process of materials.
Heating and temperature control system: Steam heating or electric heating can be used, and the electric heating power is generally around 18KW. The temperature can be automatically controlled.
Lifting and discharging system: The pot cover adopts hydraulic lifting, with a power of about 2.2KW. There are two discharging methods: direct feeding from the pot bottom and tilting of the pot body.
Working principle
After pre mixing the materials in the water and oil pots, they are sucked into the emulsifying pot by a vacuum pump. In the emulsifying pot, the mixer continuously cuts, compresses, and folds the material, causing it to flow downwards towards the homogenizer. In the homogenizer, the high-speed rotating rotor and stator produce strong shearing, dispersing, and impact effects, crushing the material into particles of 200nm-2 μ m. At the same time, the vacuum system extracts the bubbles, thereby obtaining a uniform and delicate emulsified product.
