What are the main types of vibrating screens?
According to the different vibration trajectories, excitation force sources, and application scenarios, vibrating screens can be divided into the following types:
Classified by vibration trajectory:
Linear vibrating screen: The material moves in a straight line on the screen surface, suitable for horizontal screening, such as grading or dewatering of medium and fine materials in industries such as coal, metallurgy, and light industry.
Circular vibrating screen: The material moves in a circular motion on the screen surface, suitable for three-dimensional screening, such as screening sand and gravel materials, coal preparation, mineral processing, etc. in large quarries.
Elliptical vibrating screen: The material moves in an elliptical shape on the screen surface, with high screening efficiency, suitable for screening medium and small particle materials such as limestone and crushed stone.
Classified by source of excitation force:
Eccentric vibrating screen: using the centrifugal force generated by the rotation of the eccentric block as the excitation force.
Inertial vibrating screen: The screen box vibrates due to the inertial force generated by the rotation of the vibrating motor or eccentric block.
Electromagnetic vibrating screen: using electromagnetic force to generate vibration, suitable for fine screening.
Classified by application scenario:
Mining vibrating screen: such as high-efficiency heavy-duty screen, self centering vibrating screen, dewatering screen, etc., suitable for heavy-duty and high-capacity mining scenarios.
Lightweight fine vibrating screen: such as rotary vibrating screen, ultrasonic vibrating screen, filter screen, etc., suitable for fine screening in industries such as food, chemical, pharmaceutical, etc.
Experimental vibrating screen: such as impact screen, top impact vibrating screen machine, etc., suitable for screening small batch samples in scientific research, quality inspection, etc.
